Watch Your Weight With Forskolin

Looking for an effective weight loss supplement to complement your dieting schedule? Does the weight-loss product you are planning to buy take care of your entire health as well? Unable to decide what to buy and why? Well, Forskolin extract can give you enough reasons to try it out.

Forskolin extract is a chemical found in the roots of the plant Coleus Forskholli (Plectranthus Barbatus) which is used to treat high blood pressure and heart disorders. Coleus forskohlii relates back to the family of mints. Commonly found in Thailand, India and Burma, forskolin shares its roots with Indian Ayurveda pertaining to its anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory characteristics.

According to the renowned Doctor Oz, Coleus forskohlii is “a miracle flower”. The famous Dr. on TV remarks that the plant extract works like “a furnace inside the body”. The kind of “furnace” that burns fat. But how does that happen?

The Science behind it
Forskolin is known for stimulating those hormones which further activate the fat burning mechanisms within the body. This potent extract activates adenylate cyclase, which leads to subsequent increase in cyclic adenosine mono-phosphates (cAMP) in cells. cAMP is an enzyme related to multiple beneficial cellular functions. It belongs to a class of substances known as “second messengers” and is one of the important cell-regulating compounds. Forskolin increases cAMP levels in the body, resulting in several beneficial effects.

The increased cyclic AMP leads to a wide range of biochemical and physiological effects such as:
·        increased lipolysis (burning of fat cells)
·        improved strength of contraction of heart muscles
·        relaxation of arteries and other muscles
·        reduced release of histamine (leading to lesser allergy symptoms)
·        better thyroid functioning

As recommended by the famous Dr. on TV, Coleus forskohlii works by keeping up a healthy flow of fatty acids which is the key to a sound health. It is advisable to combine this health supplement with a fresh bowl of fruits and a regular work-out to bring out the best results.

Simple and Effective 3 Step Skin Care Routine

Skin is the largest organ of our body. It is the first protective layer, protecting all our internal organs.  The skin has many functions that are essential for a proper running of our body. Two major functions of our skin are protection and excretion of waste material. Taking proper care it should be a very important part of your daily life. A healthy skin can make you look beautiful too. To give your skin the best care, you need to be well educated on the topic. This awareness will also help you decide what is NOT good for the skin so that you do not fall for all those lovely advertisement tag lines.

There are two essential contents of our skin, moisture and oil. The oiliness is determined by the extent of sebum secretion. It is very important to maintain a balance between oil and moisture in our skin. Depending on your skin type, the care regime can vary. Also, you must keep in mind that no matter your skin texture, you must never expose it to extreme temperatures, hot or cold. This is the reason you should avoid using very hot very cold water. A simple yet effective skin care routine is very important for you. This routine has three simple steps: cleansing, toning and moisturizing. This routine is discussed in detail below.

Cleansing

For cleansing, dip a cotton piece in fresh milk and gently clean your face. The movements should be upward and outward. Make sure that you do not scrub, stretch or put undue pressure on your skin. Include your neck skin in everything you do to your face. Leave the face for 2-3 minutes so that the milk extracts deep rooted dust and transfers is nutrients to the skin. After 2-3 minutes, gently splash cool or lukewarm water on your face. Dry off the water by delicately dabbing the face with a soft clean towel.
Toning
Using a toner is an important part of skin care. It tightens the skin and gets it ready to receive a moisturizer. The right product is important too. A toner is basically a solution made from water and alcohol. The alcohol should not be a strong one that can harm your skin. You must check the ingredients before buying a toner and make sure that the alcohol used is cetyl alcohol. It needs to be applied very gently, with a spray bottle if possible. Do not wipe or wash it off.

Moisturizing

If your skin is oily, do not use an oil based moisturizer. Pick one that is water or alcohol based. A dry skin must be kept moisturized as much a possible. Otherwise it might feel tight, rough and flaky. The moisturizer you use must depend on your skin type. With an oily skin, you should use something light, like gel. With dry skin, you can use heavier products.
